An Invitation to Contribute: Expanding the Visual Archive of Modern Dharma

As both a working photographer and long-time practitioner, I’ve spent the past decade documenting Buddhist life through intimate portraits and video interviews. But this archive, as personal as it is, reflects only a small window into the vast and diverse landscape of contemporary Dharma practice.

That’s why I’m reaching out—to invite other photographers to join in shaping a richer, more inclusive visual record. Your images can help illuminate aspects of Buddhist life and community I could never capture alone.

Submitted photographs may be featured on the project’s website and social media platforms. If selected for inclusion in one of the upcoming books, a small monetary honorarium will be offered as a token of gratitude. In all cases, you will be fully credited for your work.

After registering on the site, you’ll gain access to an upload form where you can submit your images. If you’re considering contributing more than 50 images, please reach out directly—we’ll find a more efficient way to bring your work into the system.

This is more than a call for content—it’s a chance to co-create a living visual history of practice in our time. I’m deeply grateful for your eye, your heart, and your willingness to share what you see.
